The Stationmaster's Cottage by Phillipa Nefri Clark

The Stationmaster's Cottage by Phillipa Nefri Clark

Another book I adored so much that it became a book club read in my latest release - The Barrington Book Club.

My review: This one had me enthralled. A dual timeline story of love, loss and redemption. An unexpected inheritance, family secrets, unopened love letters, an unsigned painting and small town inhabitants regarding a newcomer with varying degrees of friendliness and suspicion. And who doesn't love a handsome, grumpy neighbour with a delightful dog.

Aussie author Phillipa Nefri Clark is such a talented writer - she also has a fabulous crime/mystery series which begins with the book Lest We Forgive - featuring Detective Liz Moorland (who's kinda edgy and raw).

Have you discovered Phillipa's books yet?

Thank you, Susan! It means the world to me to be part of The Barrington Book Club with the very first book I published and I appreciate your very kind words.
